2/26/2020 News Feed

The News Feed on February 26, 2020 at around 6:00pm has activity, but not pushing stories. Compared to last night with the South Carolina debate, it is just an active news cycle, reporting daily news. The feed is a variety, ranging topics about the economy, politics, and retrospectives about the debate last night. A major event today was the Milwaukee Molson Coors Shooting, which, at the time of writing this, is a developing story.

The Shooting in Milwaukee, with the information I have at the moment of writing this, is that a former employee started to shoot in the facility. The company sent out an emergency text message for everyone to find somewhere safe. The police arrived at the scene and subdue the gunman. Reportedly, they are casualties with the shooter taken out.

I read this story on CNN and the story was updating as information has been coming out. It notified me when it updated and the updates were in reverse chronological order. CNN Online has reliable information and is near the neutral line of bias compared to their broadcast counterpart.

Majority of the story during this time are not major hits, the Milwaukee shooting will be covered for, give or take, five to six days, before being pushed to the online website and passing remarks on air. In addition, the journalists covering the events are quick and making sure they get the information correct, putting the big quote or statistics about the event as headlines before discussing what transpired.
